    Renting a vehicle has never been easier. Follow these simple steps and get on the road in no time.

    To rent a vehicle, you must have:

    • A valid U.S. Driver’s License
    • A major credit or debit card
    • A valid insurance policy (must be verified in our system)
      or
    • Purchase insurance through us during checkout

    3. Select your preferred vehicle
    4. Complete the checkout process
    5. Pick up your vehicle at the scheduled time
    1. Yes, we allow rentals with a debit card.

      • A $250 additional deposit is required when using a debit card
      • This is in addition to the standard $250 security deposit

      💡 Total deposit with debit card: $500

    • A $250 security deposit is required for all rentals
    • The deposit is refunded within 3–5 business days after the vehicle is returned

    💡 Note: The deposit may be held longer if there are pending tolls, tickets, damages, or other charges.

    Each vehicle includes a daily mileage allowance, typically 150–200 miles per day depending on the vehicle.

    • The exact mileage limit will be outlined in your rental contract
    • Additional miles are available for an extra fee
    • Each rental includes 150 miles per day
    • Additional mileage can be purchased in advance at a discounted rate
    • If you exceed your mileage without prepaying, extra charges will be deducted from your security deposit

    Yes, out-of-state travel is allowed within the continental United States.

    • Please notify us in advance of your travel plans
    • Mileage limits still apply
    • Travel outside of the U.S. is not permitted
    • The renter is responsible for any tolls, tickets, or violations incurred during the trip

    In most cases, one-way rentals are not available.

    However, in rare situations we may be able to accommodate a one-way trip.

    • Additional fees will apply and can be significant

    • Available within a 15-mile radius
    • Delivery to DCA and IAD airports available
    • Delivery fees apply

    Yes, we offer long-term and monthly rentals.

    We provide discounted rates for extended bookings.

    • Extensions must be requested at least 2 hours before your trip ends
    • Payment must be made before the extension is approved

    Shortening a trip:

    • Refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to approval
    • More than 24 hours notice: Full refund
    • Less than 24 hours notice: Partial refund
    • Pickup: 1-hour grace period
      • After 1 hour → trip canceled without refund
    • Drop-off: 30-minute grace period
      • After 30 minutes → late fees apply

    Coverage Options:

    • $10/day – CDW
      • Requires personal liability insurance
    • $40/day package
      • $2,500 deductible
    • $43/day package
      • $1,000 deductible

    Important:

    • If selecting CDW → must provide insurance
    • If your insurance covers rentals → no purchase needed
    • Proof of insurance must be uploaded and will be verified

    We will handle camera and mail-in tickets on your behalf.

    • Ticket cost will be charged to your payment method
    • A processing fee will be applied

    No, tolls are not included in your rental.

    • Any tolls incurred during your trip will be charged to your payment method
    • If not immediately available, they may be deducted from your security deposit

    No, only approved drivers listed on the rental contract and verified by DMV Car Rentals may drive the vehicle.

    Smoking is only allowed if the smoking option is purchased during checkout.

    If smoking occurs without purchasing this option, a cleaning fee will be charged.

    Pets are not allowed in any vehicles.
    Violation may result in a cleaning fee.

    Vehicles must be returned in reasonable condition.
    Excessive dirt, stains, or odors may result in cleaning fees. 

    Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level.
    Refueling charges will apply if not.

    Late returns will result in additional charges.
    Please contact us in advance if you need more time.

    We offer delivery to DCA and IAD airports for your convenience.

    • The vehicle will be parked in one of the airport garages and ready at your scheduled trip start time
    • We will cover the first hour of parking
    • After the first hour, all parking fees are the renter’s responsibility

    ⚠️ Important:

    • If the vehicle is not picked up, any parking charges may be deducted from your security deposit

    Roadside assistance coverage depends on the cause of the issue:

    ✅ Covered by DMV Car Rentals:

    • Mechanical issues not caused by the renter
    • Unexpected breakdowns (e.g., engine issues, warning lights, etc.)

    ❌ Renter Responsibility:

    • Flat tires
    • Lockouts
    • Running out of fuel
    • Accidents (regardless of fault)

    In these cases, the renter is responsible for all roadside assistance and related costs
